  1. I got excited one day needed a new bra ended up getting 2 bras 2 pair of dress pants 2 jeans, shirts... Too soon, one month later the pants don't fit! It's great cause I'm losing inches but sucks that I wasted money. So I say wait till your more stable or your forced to. Good luck & great job!!
  2. That's great groovy! Had you lost any weight from surgery to your fill??
  3. Lol google & webmd are evil, I freak myself out every time. I didn't have the lumps but I had pain for about 3 weeks where they inserted the IV. You should probably call your doc, although I'm sure your fine. Good luck!
  4. Acadia, the exact same thing happened with me. 2 days after I was discharged from the hospital after my lap band I had e same pains, couldn't breathe thought it was a pulmonary embolism. Fortunately it wasn't. They couldn't figure out the problem. But they told me I was s art to go in & get checked out.
  5. I honestly can't say. I was just banded feb 7th. At my follow up appt he told me to come back in 3 weeks and we'd discuss a fill. He was happy with my weight loss thus far so he wasn't pushing a fill. Originally they told me 6 weeks after surgery.
  6. Dr. Tichansky down at Jefferson is good, he & his staff are very nice! 215-503-7325
  7. You'd be amazed going to zumba class no one pays attention to what your doing. My best friend is an instructor and her class has all ages and body types, but no one cares what anyone else is doing or not doing! But I do (well did before surgery) zumba on wii & love it. I was losing weight without exercise but it has now stopped so I figure monday is my time to stop being lazy and get it going again!!
  8. I was banded two weeks ago and only eating bout 1/2cup meal and get full and eat 3 of those per day. Am I the only one who is getting full and can't eat like before surgery??
  9. Don't know if you like hot tea, but that was very soothing after surgery. Or decaf coffee, I didn't want broth or Jello after and the warmer liquids tasted really good and felt really good in the hospital and once I got home! Good luck with surgery you'll do great!!
  10. Congrats Groovy! I saw my doc last week & he didn't even talk about a fill, just that he'd check my progress is 3 weeks. I forgot to ask but I think he must have done a small fill during surgery because I do already have some restriction. Keep up the good work!! Did your doc clear you for exercise, mine just said walking and the eliptical, no zumba yet
  11. So holly drinking the water will knock out the craziness in my stomach?? I hope that works cause I'm Struggling!
  12. I admire you, I'm a scale junky. Weigh myself daily. It gives me motivation I think!
  13. The pain feels like I have a stomach virus or if you've ever had food poisoning. When I'm trying new things it just doesn't work out & I'm a very picky eater so Im definitely eating less than I should be, but it's working and I feel better.
  14. Hey Courtney, I went through the same thing and still am. My stomach is still very sensitive 2 weeks post op. I have to watch everything I eat. Everyones body adjust to this process differently & I realized I can't eat what others do on this bored. Good luck with surgery!
  15. I diverted and had some chicken in a sauce. The chicken was soft and pulled apart with a fork but the sauce was a bit too much & I got really sick in the bathroom every hour (sorry so graphic!) luckily I didn't throw up but I felt horrible. My system isn't ready for regular foods yet, I still need no chunks and not a lot of seasonings. So take it easy. Trust it's not a good feeling to test the limits of your stomach!
