  1. I am new to this site and wanted to get some help. I had my Lap Band procedure done in 2007 and I saw little progress at first. I found that I could not keep hardly anything down and was throwing up all of the time. I never really felt like the Dr. was very engaged with his patients and did not really give a lot of advise post-op. Since then I have done little to improve the situation and I am right at the same weight I was prior to the procedure. While I did not see much of an impact from the procedure I also did not do much to help out my situation. I have decided it is time for me to stop messing around and get control of my situation. I have an appointment with the doctor who installed my Lap Band (Dr. Felix Speigle - Houston) on Monday to see what my options are for re-starting my journey. Have any of you had the same situation? Do any of you have any advise for how I should start back up? Will it be as simple as going to get another fill? Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
