  1. I am at a good point on my band. Restriction wise. I just manage to get around it. I KNOW my eating has been a factor. I am looking for the help and encouragement to go back to step one if need be and continue that faze. Guidelines are a plus for me. Eat this and only this and in this amount, etc. Then I know the band will get me back. As far as the hitting the wall part, I don't know and neither does the Dr. know why I hit it and how to fix it. Even did a food/drink journal and all was in line there. Maybe this time I can get past it. Thanks! And congrats on your success! I too will get there!
  2. Help! I am failing! I have now gained almost all my weight back, and can not afford nor do I have the insurance for fills. Is there anyone who can help me? I lost almost 30#'s and then hit a wall and it didn't seem to matter what I did, I could not loose anymore. My husband then took a different job back in our home state and we moved. That has been a year and a half. We moved into our daughters for a good 9 months and have since moved out on our own. I understand the stress of all this did not help, nor did her cooking! I need to get a "restart". Again I say HELP!!! Thank you in advance. Barb spededbarb@att.net (best way to communicate, my computer is not convinent)
  3. I was banded 1/13. Between my consult in Aug. and now I have lost 15 lbs. I have been stuck on not losing for a while now. Between my post-op and Feb. 28, I lost a lb. I was given 6 cc on my first fill Feb. 28. (standard at my Dr.) I do have restriction, but still am not losing. I'm super frustrated. Have trouble getting my calories in AND I am exercising 5 days a week, bike, treadmill and elliptical. I don't know what else to do. I did "pig-out" one day and lost 4 oz. ! Even with my "pig-out", I didn't eat nearly enough calories. I am averaging around 550-600 calories. I know that's not healthy. My start weight was 199, so I know it will come off slower then those who have more to lose, but I sure would be happy if I would lose a lb. a week! Any ideas or suggestions?
  4. Hi, I'm 53, in Bakersfield CA. I was banded on Jan. 13, 11. I am down 11 lbs, but I have been struggling lately with hunger. I eat 2-3 meals a day, but sometimes my dinner is bigger then it should be. Any ideas? I'm not due for a fill for almost a month, if then. HELP!
  5. I was banded on the 13th, go for post-surgery appointment on the 24th!
