  1. Started running after I was banded last Oct. the weight came off fast and furious ran two 5k's and more recently and 8k in June. All of a sudden my weight loss just stalled with the running so I started Insanity but the problem is I can't get enough calories in with the band to support this kind of excercise anyone have any suggestions I got down to 195 with my last fill but now I am stalled at 206-209. I know muscle ways more than fat but when does the building muscle kick in to jump start the buring of calories and thus weight loss? Help Help Help Help!!! I am frusterated!!
  2. I am in the same boat was banded 10/28/10 lost 82 lbs started at 277 got down to 195 and then found my fill was too tight so they completely unfilled me. I have had two fills since then and I am stuck back up at 206-209 but it seems like I am eating way more than I should be able to....also I do extreme excerxising so I am leery to get another fill because it seems like I cant get enough calories in for the excercising I am doing so I am in a quandry....please give me any suggestions possible!!
  3. Just wanted to let you all know that I have discovered trail running from an amazingly fit co-worker!! It is challenging, spiritual and rewarding!! If your up for it give it a try!
  4. Hello, I am new and was banded 10/28/10 I don't seem to be experiencing very signifigant weight loss even though I eat pretty good and excercise regularly. Is this normal? In total I have lost 36lbs but technically 16 of that was the 5% I had to lose before the surgery. Every morn I get on the scale and I feel like giving up!! I run 2 to 3 miles a day and have been doing this consistently for about a month and a half. Had my first fill Dec. 1 and could still eat just about whatever I wanted. Had my second fill Dec 30 and have more restriction but am not dropping pounds. I am so confused can someone tell me whats going on? My Dr. is Dr. Neal of Pacific Surgical Associates, in Lacey WA He is wonderful and all fills have been done under flouroscopy or whatver. Anyway, I really need your suggestions on what I am doing wrong. I will say I frequently eat to fast and have had some productive burping due to trying to take to big of bites of things like steak or shrimp. Is this slow of weight loss normal with the band or am I doing something wrong?
