price. I live in Cleveland, Ohio but hospitals were insanely priced here. I found Dr. Webber in Detroit for nearly 18 thousand less than doctors here- He has an excellent name and is well established. That was that!! lol The best decision I could have ever made was made! A few weeks later I was banded!

bipolar disorder! Ahhhh!! It was a no win!
My cholesterol was SKY HIGH! Blood pressure was insane and sugar was becoming borderline :0/ I decided one day (LITERALLY! lol) that I was having the surgery! Talked with my husband that night- called the insurance co. the next day, they would NOT cover it 
BUMMED OUT! lol Next step- pricing! searched and searched for the BEST doctor at the best -
Sorry it has taken me so long! What made me go through with it is- They diagnosed me with bipolar disorder and adult adhd after the birth of my daughter in 2006. I was already around 220 but with all of the med changes it literally packed about 90 lbs on me within 6 months! Hello! My name is Melissa- 28 from Cleveland, Ohio. I Had LB surgery on July 14th, 2009 in Detroit, Mi. I was self pay and Dr. Webber at Harper Hospital was the cheapest with an excellent background I went in at 303 lbs and am now around 185 (depending on the scale, grrr) My whole entire journey has been excellent! I wouldn't change one thing! There's nothing like being able to play tag with my kids or hide and seek and hide anywhere! =) I'm looking for new ideas for diet- MY hair (very thin) and my skin (very dry) I'm also interested in hearing opinions and personal experiences of Panniculectomy procedures (don't hold it against me if I posted wrong! Still trying to figure this site out =)

Ahhh- Thank you Packersfan! At this point I'm willing to try mostly anything My nails are insanely strong and healthy- It's my hair and skin! Arrrg.

Hello! =) Thank you for the kind words! You also look fantastic! You're such a beautiful woman- even before the weight loss. So glad to see another near my age that has had this done- a lot of ppl around me were against the ideal but I always tend to do what I want anyway- hahaha. What made you go through with surgery?

Wow- This picture is amazing! I wish I would have done that! =) I came across you when I was looking for people who have had a TT. I'm thinking about it- very scared though. You should be extremely proud of yourself- amazing!
