  6. Thank you all for responding and defending my point. i have never met FTF before but I know I battled enough odd feeling and heard and still hear every doom and gloom story there is about how evil the band is and I do not need her little miss cloudy outlook bringing me more down. I do not know her or what she does in the industry but i am glad she had nothing to do with me.
  7. Kinda have to disagree, I do not get hungry. as for all the pain I had it for about 3 days post op but have felt wonderful since. I really doubt that is the main reason old bandsters leave the site i would think maybe it is because they are moving on in life and no longer need the support they have gotten here, which is wonderful. I would say if you are tired of people asking all these questions maybe you should think it is also time to move along. I have found the questions here very helpful as alot are the questions i myself have had. So smile and don't let life and the actions of others stress you out. and always give to your fellow man and you will find most will be grateful and return the favor.
  8. Hi, I have a odd suggestion have you been checked for Lyme Disease? My Uncle had it. He had been visiting in Minnesota then went back to his home on the east coast and then had the same indications. Ended up they did not thave the issue out there so they did not test him and it ended up a Resident from Colorado said could it be Lyme disease and it ended up it was. anywhere a deer tick can get you or even misquito that carries the blood from a infected deer you can get it, Good Luck I pray for you that they can find out what it is and give you some piece of mind at least.
  9. You make me feel old 44 in body but in mind i am 25 thats why I need a body to be somewhat better shape. I think after talking to people i am very lucky. I actuly feel really good.
  10. man my doc said nothing about a month of this liquid diet.
  11. Hello to every one and nice to meet you all. I guess pain wise I am doing good have not needed to take any pain med yet. coughing at the main port sight is a not so fun time and sneezing that takes your breath away for a second but the pain subsides. My main issue and question is everyone tells me the vomiting will go away in a week or so well the problem is I have not even felt like vomiting. I am doing the liquid diet thing but I have not felt full or nauseous. I have been holding back eating large amounts because I do not want the band to slip or anything. i feel like my biggest issue now is being SOOO tired of the liquid diet even a piece of dry toast would be a banquette right now. Any suggestions or comments and should i be worried something came unhooked or something as I do not feel sick at all? Thanks Rich
