  1. I am at 4 weeks post surgery today and I just had my first fill this morning. I got 3.5 cc which he said was more than he usually does on the first fill, but they had to take some out of mine immediately after surgery due to swelling. Now, he is making up for what was taken out at that time.
  2. Thank you for your post and Congratulations! I am just 4 weeks out from surgery. Getting my first fill next week, and a lot of the posts I have read are so negative that I am getting scared that I will not succeed at this. I am looking forward to my first fill and yet going with little expectations of any great, significant changes in the way I feel. I realize that the band is a tool and I still need the self-control to get me to my sweet spot. Thanks for the encouraging post. Hope I, too, can be a size 6 some day.
  3. Only 2 weeks to go. I am starting to get excited about this. The more people I talk to the more comfortable I get.
  4. Good luck to you too! I am going for my Preop stuff today. Meet with the nutritionist, get my ekg, labs, and xrays. Getting more excited every day. Lets talk again right before the 30th~!
  5. I am scheduled for Surgery Dec 30th. I am nervous! I have not told anyone about this except my Husband, Mom and Boss. I am a little embarrassed that I am unable to lose the weight on my own. Will it be any easier to tell everyone and having them "watching" you all the time?
