[font='comic sans ms']My name is Ginger and I am getting ready to have the Gastric Sleeve. I have always struggled with my weight, and more recently when my father died, I just gave myself permission to deal with his death by eating. Food is my drug of choice. I volume eat, and after I am done, I go into the kitchen and find sweets and eat those too. I went to NY this summer and my cousin really put her foot down. She told me she wanted me to live for a long long time and that I was not healthy and needed to do something about it. I had gotten so overwhelmed I had just accepted that I was fat and would always be. I saw a friend of mine's husband on facebook one day. He had been overweight and had lost a lot. I was so shocked at how different he looked! I asked how he did it, and his wife told me that he had the Gastric Sleeve. I have been thinking about this for a while, so I spoke with him and found out what the process is like. [/font]

[font='comic sans ms']I tried to go to the clinic and hospital locally but soon got discouraged by their tedious process and run around. I fired them from the job, and decided to go somewhere else. [/font]

[font='comic sans ms']I found Dr. Scott Stowers in Decatur, Texas. I have heard wonderful things about him and am very excited about my future. [/font]

[font='comic sans ms']I walk past a window and wonder "who is that person?". I am shocked at how different I look now that I am overweight. I have purchased all of the vitamins, and prescriptions, and just bought a new pair of pj's for the hospital, and am ready to get this show on the road. I am open to any ideas, and advice anyone can give me!![/font]
