  3. Sooooo remember the gas pains!!!! They truly were awful! Hang in there. It def gets better!!! Good luck!
  4. Congrats to you for doing LBS. everything is so new right now. Swelling, gas pains, being scared to eat or drink lol. I think it's normal. Obviously you should contact your doc if you are concerned. I couldn't burp for months after surgery so everyone is different. Hope you recover fast! And good luck!!
  5. Hookieluv everyone is different they say the average in the band for some is 5 cc. I know that when you lose weight the band does get looser. Every doc is also different. I would go by how you feel when you eat.

  15. Thanks Mis. I've just started counseling so hopefully that will help. How do you deal with sugar now? Do you eat it at all?
  16. Erica I am in the same boat. I am a sugar addict and am regretting ever having surgery! My will power sux and im very disappointed with myself! I've been banded a year and a half and no weight loss. I don't even know what to say. My doc said I will do well with lap band. I think he wanted my money and didn't care if I actually lost weight. I know what I should be doing. We ALL know the right way to lose weight. I'm just not sure why I can't get my butt in gear. It's hard to see everyone else being successfull. I am so happy for them. Wishing it was me...
  17. Just curious. Unfortunately I'm a sugar addict so the band is not helping me. At all. I'm regretting my decision. I don't want to feel like I've put my self through surgery for no reason but I'm leaning towards that. I wish the sugar cravings would go away. It seems that's the only thing stopping my weight loss journey.
