Well im 26 now and i just had my surgery 3 weeks ago and im glad i did it i had the chance to have wls when i was 18 but i didnt and thinking back now im kinda glad i didnt have it when i was 18 but then again i do im glad i had the chance to go out and party and drink and have fun but i guess it matters on what kinda person you are if you dont like that kinda stuff have the surgery but if you want to experience that time of your life dont have it BUT you can still have fun without drinking i guess lol.

I had my surgery jan 27th and when i eat soups or pudding i get full after 2 oz but im drinking a chocolate protien shake right now and im not feeling full and i made a half glass of shake and i might have 2 oz left of it. weird but the scales are saying im losing 2 + pounds a day so im happy

Man not trying to be mean but man im glad my expeirience was nothing like that i had surgery woke had no pain but gas in my chest and that was gone 2 days later i felt 100% by the 3rd day. Knock on wood lol

Hi i just got home this past wensday from there i had surgery with him too i was nervous just like you but everything was fine i didnt see anything happen i even walked across the street and went to the mall and the mall is just as nice as the hospital so dont worry you will be fine.

Ok well knock on wood its about 95% gone now my problem now is i dont know when i eat enough chicken soup i will eat like 2 0r 3 ounces but i still feel hungry but then again it could be the gas im confused lol but im feeling a whole lot better today knock on wood

no im not taking any im going to try and get some today

Hi i was sleeved on jan 27th and i still have these chest pains from gas still in there and also feels like hunger pains is this normal and when should it go away? thanks the pain feels like its coming up my throat

He is great but i have only seen him 1 time one of his doctors came to see me 2 times yesterday and he said docotor rod.was still doing surgeries but all the doctors are nice,The hosital is spotless its cleaner and newer than the 1 back home but when im feeling better i will tell you more,

so i had my surgery yesterday im sitting up right now from walking only thing that bothers me is the gas in my chest hopefully that will be gone later. Dr. jose rodriguez was great i've only seen him 1 time but all the other doctors said everything went great no problems one doctor just left and said i can have ice chips at lunch. Well im going to go be back on here later

I have my done wensday in mexico im real nervous but im in fayetteville nc i just got home about 20 mins ago from myrtle beach sc had to meet a real estate agent so i might be moving your way pretty soon.

Thanks everybody lol the bad thing is i think im more nervous about the plane thing than anything else and i hate the part after the surgery when your throat is dried and hurting.

Well wensday is the big day for me im starting to get a little bit nervous now but no turning back now i have my plane tickets my passport and i payed my down paynemt so i hope everything goes good i never flew in a plane b4 so i cant belive im having this surgery plus out of country,on top of that in Mexico my doctor is dr. jose rodriguez so wish my luck guys. My stats im 26 6'2 bmi 46

What i have been told is you HAVE to have a passport book or passport card to enter Mexico since they changed the laws a while back im in the same boat your in i have surgery on the 26th of january but thank god i went 2 weeks ago to the post office to get my passport book and i expedited it and over night it took about 7 days to come to my house.

Well i had to change my date but im set for january 26th my passport came in i payed for my plane tickets and my deposit for the surgery im ready to go now.

I found out today i will have my surgery jan 11th i cant wait!

Ok i want to know to those that have the lapband looking back are you glad you got the laband or do you wish you had the gastric bypass surgery? The reason i ask is im planning on having the lapband done in january im self pay and the lady that is helping me thru belighweight told me she has the band but if she could do it all over again should would have got the other surgery. Now i am self pay and the lapband cost is $5400 the gastric bypass is $6900 im not worried about the cost differnce so i just wanted yall truthfull opinion. Thanks!

Hi im new here and i see the post is old but i have surgery in january and i didnt know if anybody has used belightweight recentley? I cant wait to have surgery they told me i could do it before xmas but i told them i would wait after so i can eat 1 more good time lol.
