  1. I'm now a newbie too and had to identify myself in the thread I've been following since August. This trying to log on and resetting cost me a big headache today. I thought of just going to another lap band site and starting over but didn't want to leave the people that are in that thread. What a hassle!!!
  2. I had no pain after surgery. I took one pain pill because I felt I should to avoid pain but I really had none at all and I had my lap band installed and the hernia repair. I still have that full bottle of pain pills . Why would someone lie and say they had no pain if they did? Your Thread title is very abrasive but I'm sure you didn't mean it that way (I hope) ...I'm not a liar!!
  3. Hey Amanda, It's msdv. I had to change my user name because I had to re-register since they renewed the site. Anyway, I feel just like you. I'm still at the same point that I've been at for close to 3 months now. I do feel some restriction because I really can't eat much at all but I have been so distracted with frequent visitors and obligations that I have not been eating good food for the most part just what I can get easily . I have been eating out a lot and even having some wine or vodka with my diet Snapple to chill out at night. As much as I wanted to have my surgery if I knew all of this was going to happen after my band date of 8/16 I would have put my surgery off for a couple of months. Thankfully even with all of that I have not lost but I have not gained anything either . I will be getting my 2nd fill on Dec. 1st and I am hoping that I will start to lose again. I'm thinking I should at least be down 40-50 lbs by now. I told my DH no more visitors or social affairs until I get myself together. I hope that will get me back on track. I cannot fail with this band I have to make it a successful journey. The thought of failing makes me depressed beyond words. Dee
  4. I don't know about not liking the site yet. I just got back on after not being able to log in with my old username and password. I kept sending a request for new password and after 5 attempts I never got an email back. I finally had to change my user name and email to register all over again. Forget about contacting a mod to get help. Why is everything such a hassle nowadays? sheesh!!!!
