  1. I have just recently started having the same problem with heartburn (last adjustment 7/07). The nurse recommended Mucinex for children if the heartburn was due to mucus and try Priolosec (cut up into pieces) if it is due to excess acid. According to her a lot of the patients she is seeing now are having this problem.
  2. I can't answer you question because I don't have my surgery until December 29, 2006. But I was so excited to see that you used the same Dr I am going to use. I would be interested in hearing how things go for you? Did you go on the all liquid diet before the surgery? I am on it right now and tonight has been very hard for me. I am very hungry.
