Hi. Ive been wanting to ask this same question as I am self-pay, and my date is Jan. 28th. My surgeon is here in South Florida, and the price 10,000.00 . He is a Center of Bariatric Excellence and I have known many people through the years that have had superior results, he also includes a support system for after the surgery. The prices have come down by other surgeons here, now that they offer outpatient centers. I have gone back and forth about this surgery countless times. I have friends that have gained back weight with bypass, so I know all of these surgerys take effort and they wont fix your brain. My doctor told me he feels it is about 80 success to 20 percent failure. If you do not follow the rules, and do not get your fills it will not work. I just hope and pray I am successful.
