  1. No Problem! I had the Lap-Band system AP-S band placed with no fill. I'm doing really well, so far. I am a little less than 2 weeks out and have managed to lose 6 pounds from my pre-op weight. I am eating very high-Protein, low carb and relatively low-fat. I started adding in some real food after a little over a week and have had no problems so far.
  2. Weight gain is normal after most any operation from the bloating and fluids. I had an out-patient band procedure, and upon returning home I was 12lbs heavier than when I left. It's been a week and I'm "technically" down two pounds from my pre-surgery weight. I know I still have plenty of Fluid left to lose before things balance out.
