  1. I'm not in intense pain more a uncomfortable pain. LIke when my appendix burst a couple of months ago it kinda feels like that. I have really high pain tolerance though I almost didn't even go to the ER for that. So I guess that's what worries me. I have no bleeding, fever or vomiting and I can hold down food so I will just wait. I do not want to go to a ER and have them not know anything about LapBands. Thanks so much for the advice!
  2. I was banded on Nov 8th 2010 and last Wednesday My stomach starting hurting more of a dull pressure feeling. Also a pinching feeling near the port I went to the hospital and got a xray and I am awaiting results from my Dr. tomorrow. But over the weekend I haven't had a bowel movement and my pain level went up a little and my stomach is really uncomfortable. So should I wait until tomorrow or go to the ER? Thanks
  3. Thanks for the encouragement! I'm 28 and I thought the lapband was like magic at first too and now I realize now more than ever it's just a really great tool.
  4. I was banded Nov 8th of 2010 and have lost 61 pounds but I haven't lost anything in 2 months and I notice myself going back to my old ways and I don't want anything to do with exercise anymore ugh what do you do to stay motivated? I need some inspiration!
  5. Hi I am getting Lap Band surgery on Thursday Nov 11th! I'm really nervous and excited for my new life. I am concerned though about pregnancy and the Lap Band. I am 27 with two children and I want to have more in the future and wanted to hear if anyone had any problems or a hard time with getting rid of pregnancy weight. Thanks so much.
