  1. well i have my test next week, then paper work will be submitted. iam worried i wont get approve because i am 33% bmi, i have high blood pressuer and am on medication for it, i hope that they see this in accordance with my age and approve me, the lady at the center was pretty optomisitc. i wound why would they go through all the trouble if they didnt think i had a good chance of approvel. i have tricare standard and have read that some people have gotten approved quit fast and the opposite for others. well i guess all i can do is keep my fingers crossed.:frown:
  2. iam also at a 33 % bmi. i was told to do the test anyways and submitt the paperwor and see what happens. have test later next week, second guessing if i should go through all the trouble to just get denied. wish i could find someone that got approved with bmi of 33 % so i could be more optamistic.
  3. iam trying not to get my hopes up because i am not 35% only 33% but i do have high blood pressuer and am currently on medication for it. i hope that ins takes into account my age, i really want this so bad. i have been overweight all my life and it has bee a big part of my emotional suffering. if i dont get approved it will be devastating, i could never affored to pay out of pocket fror the sx. i still have to do my sleep study and lab tests, and phy eval, i sometimes wounde if i should do all of this, just to probly get denide. wish someone could give me some good outlook.
  4. confused. i went to seminar on saturday, have sleepstudy and lab work appointments for next thur ansd sat. alot of you are talking about getting referals from pcms, when does that come into play. i am going through weigh loss center in san diego. I have tri care standard.
  5. i have tricare ins . i went to the seminar on saturday and had bmi of 33% and i am also on high blood pressure medication. i told the nurse that i fell like i am not going to get aproved and she said that you never know until you try. so i have my sleep study on thursday and my other lab test on sat. Is it worth it to do all this, have low hopes for approval.
