Hello my name is karla i don't have a lapband story persay but i hope to soon. I have been trying for 4 yrs now to have the surgery done  but my insurance will not cover it. my primary care dr is on board for me to have it but i cannot even get an appt. with the surgeon because my insurance will not cover it. i cannot pay out of pocket it's impossiable and my credit is not good enough for me to get a loan i have tried. I have been overweight my whole life. i could not even tell you what's it's like to be thin. I have never been married nor do i have children. i have never really been in a realtionship. i have a job that i'm not happy with . i apply other places but feel my weight discourges them from hiring me. i have never let my weight control my life. I have a very suppotive family and friends. but now i feel my weight has taken control of my life . i don't do things like i used to hate to even go in public because i feel people are staring i'm very deppresed and feel that my life will end sooner than it should because of my weight. well thats my story there more i could write but i'd be here all day
