  1. Well I am new here-- I am thinking about band- I have done a lot of research on gastric and just do not want to have things moved- several of my friends have had it and done great-- but I just do not think it for me-- BUT the local Dr here is going to start banding next year-- not sure of all the details and I am just starting to llok at this procedure so ....here I am!! I have a BMI of 46 I think and should lose 100 pounds-- but that "ideal" weight would be what I was in high school-- so I am not sure-- I would really like to lose 60-70 pounds and think this would be a great way for me to go-- I have done the HMR diets through the Hospital here several times and had fair results and this last time I lost 25 pounds and have kept it off-- but I am stuck-- oh well sorry for rambling-- I will look around now--
