  1. I have PCOS, and have been overweight for about 2 years now. I am currently seeing a fertility doctor and on meds, but the weight is not coming off. I am really considering the lap band. The problem is, I had a blood clot (PE) in 08 and as a percaution I am on coumadin do to the clot, all because of the YAZ birth control I was on. So I'm over weight and hate the way I look and want another baby. I was put on YAZ after my son was born in 07. How long after the band can you get pregnant? I just turned 30 and don't want to wait 2 or 3 years. I am in the TULSA OKLAHOMA area any recommendations on surgeons? I believe my insurance will cover all most all of the procedure just need the info on how to get this rolling.. Thanks
