I was banded on 12/13/10 and I felt horrible the day I came home. The next day, the anesthesia wore off and my head felt better, but my chest and belly hurt more. I feel like I need to Burp and this pressure builds up in my chest but it stays there and it hurts. But then it slowly subsides, then a while later it happens again. I just took some liquid pain meds and its not as bad. I'm trying not to take the meds a lot and trying to walk around. I hate the pain....
Hello Donna Niemi :-) I am being banded on 11-17! I am sooo excited but nervous too! I want to make friends here so that we can be able to support each other! I am sure we will need people who understand our trials and this is the perfect place! My Dr. is Dr. Bass in Naples FL!
Its about time I start taking better care of myself. I want to feel good. I want to feel healthy. I want to feel happy...And I want to start loving myself more. I'm a wife and a mother of three great kids. My family is my life. I want to be around to celebrate it with them. I want to Finlay breath and know that I am a great mother who has energy for her family. But I have to start with getting me healthy. Its been a two year decision to get to the point where I called the Dr. Now I am scheduled for Nov 17....My insurance covers it, but my Dr still has to submit the final documents for it to be 100% Nov 17....
Wow, I needed to hear that too :-) I am kinda nervous, but look forward to my banding this Nov. I am excited for you, and I am looking for support from people who are going through this journey as well!
