Bell1138 LAP-BAND Patients April 6, 201016 yr Author stats Wow, you look great. I have been banded 8 weeks and have lost about 23 lbs. I am a little discouraged. Are you exercising? I have two small children, and I find it so hard to find time to exercise. Congrats.....
monanavas LAP-BAND Patients April 7, 201016 yr Author stats Hi.i'm amazed on your weight loss. I had my lap band surgery one year ago and it's been reaaly good. I've lost like 70 pounds but since 4 months ago i've been stuck on 267 and i'm getting a little discouraged.
queen b-bop LAP-BAND Patients April 7, 201016 yr Author stats Hey all thank you very much!!! Its funny looking back 6 months ago and thinkg 50 lbs was sooooo far away. But I have to say, that this band isnt the ONLY answer..back b4 I got married I was a size 12..then 3 kids came along, I lost myself, and gained like 100 lbs over 10 years. I decided to get this band because I felt like 100 lbs wasnt coming off on its own. And immediately after getting the band, I changed my whole view on food. I knew the band was just going to be my tool, not he WHOLE answer. I still feel that mostly all this weight i have lost I have done on my own. I will def give the first 15 lbs to the band, but I just got my third fill (i have a totlal of 5cc's in) and FINALLY feel a restriction...I do to this day make sure i get in all the protein I need, but I feel like I live a balanced food life. I'll eat a coookie, but just ONE not 5!!! I did just within the last 2 weeks start exercising...I'm not gonna lie I have 3 kidsand work full time nite shift so i def know what its like to not have time...but I do it at nite when they go to bed...a 25 min BOOTCAMP with Bob from the Biggest Loser....hey something is better than nothing But i feel like the exercising is def helping. It is certainly a lifestyle change NOT a diet.....but I think a lot of people get discouraged because the weight doesnt fly off like it does with a GB...dont get discouraged...Slow DOES win the race in the end!! Good Luck everyone!!
