Getting filled

Great pics...congratulations on a job well done! I was also banded on 2/13/09. My first fill is tomorrow at 10 am. Any words of wisdom now that you are a pro at it??? Take care and keep up the good work! Laura

I would just be honest with yourself and your doc...as much as you want to 'feel' restriction...be sure that things go down well. I have heard people are so set on feeling restricted that they sometimes get an overfill the first time, because at least with my doc, if I told him I didn't feel anything at the back of my throat he would keep going, but then you are not doing yourself any favors when you are unable to get anything down comfortably, so just be patient, be honest, and know that each body is different, and you'll be successful, it just takes time.

I've already had surgery I just have to wait three more weeks for a fill. I have no idea where my port is though! I trie d figuring it out but they all look the same to me.

Mine was under my biggest incision...they had me push out my stomach wall, and then I could feel it. It wasn't where I thought it would be

hreat pics.. you are doing so well. I AM ALMOST 1 MONTH OUT AND I STILL DONT REALLY SEE IT. THE CALE TELLS ME I HAVE LOST ABOUT 15LBS...WHEN DID U START SEEING A CHANGE???. I AM GOING FOR MY FIRST FILL IN MID NOV. I DO NOT WANT TO GO OVERBOARD WITH THE FILL. I AM OOK WILL LOOSING 1-3 LBS A WEEK.
