Medica 3 month supervised diet

Has anyone had to do it? Is it just what your surgeon wants you to do and then you weigh in monthly like some with other insurance did?

I have a BMI over 40 but not sure if they'll consider past BP readings to mean I have hypertension as my BP is good now.
