Does anyone else have a style they really love on other people, but looks terrible on them?

I really want palazzo pants to work for me. I want comfy but stylish airplane clothes But they just make me look short and frumpy

Top is too big (L) tried to wrap it tightly but likely can't wear again without tailoring it ?

They are too small on me, waist is tight and the crotch is a little, camel-y ?

But even if I go a size up... I think I will still feel dumpy in them, you know? They'll be the item in the closet that still has tags a year later.

I think it might be the length. I wonder how they’d be cropped? That would be easy to do/have done.

Correction - forgot a couple of earlier surgeries - 22 total, I think! Uh-oh, hubby reminded me of another one - 26 and I'm not counting any more! I promise!
