Tongue-chewing relief?

Does anyone else here have issues with what I call chewing on your tongue? I used to rely on gum to keep my mouth busy, but I'm now 6 days post-VSG and with all this stress, I'm chewing on my tongue all the time! Besides sucking on ice or popsicles, any other suggestions?
