Surgery scheduled 11/30/2017

So im in a bit of a mental pickle. I’m 31 years old and I have always been dealing with weight issues since a kid. I took the initiative to look into surgery at the beginning of the year after diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. After speaking to my surgeon we agreed that gastric bypass is the best option due to the diabetes and my BMI of 55. With just a few weeks to my surgery my husband has mentioned to me that he thinks I should get the sleeve and still get the same results. As from my surgeon and reading up on both surgeries the results of diabetes being gone are greater with the bypass. He’s afraid I’ll regret doing the bypass because I won’t be able to eat the same. But I’m ok with that. Eating the unhealthy foods and high sugar things is what got me to the weight I am now. Anyone here gotten the bypass and regretted not getting the sleeve? Opinions are appreciated! Thank you. Rant over. [emoji846]
