changing ins to UHC post surgery anyone else?

I have already had surgery and one my second fill today but i am changing to united healthcare to hubbys ins cuz im changing jobs. mine has cigna but its to expensive...anyone else changed ins co after surgery how does that work when you need fills etc??~Chantay
