Hello there. I am 7 days on now and things are starting to get back to normal - really normal. I never expected much fuss because very few people know what I have done, and also this was my choice and I have not been rushed for surgery as an emergency or whatever.(Still definately life saving though)! I must say those who do know are 100% with me and more supportive than I could have hoped for. My husband is helping as much as poss, but he is severely disabled with MS and post cancer and I am his carer. So out of hospital and business as normal.
Anywho - we have a small business and we are all friends aswell. I told one of the directors because I thought he should know in case of problems, and because I need to have some wiggle room about not going into work. A BEAUTIFUL bouquet of flowers arrived today by Interflora from him and his wife (she also works with us). They made me cry. I felt really special and loved the attention. I feel really happy today and so blessed to have such wonderful support. The flowers are the icing on the cake.
