Hey all! I'm new here! I've been looking around the website for a bit trying to gather all of the information that I can find. I booked my surgery for March 8 with Dr. Aceves. I'm having revision surgery from band to sleeve. Slightly nervous but from what I have heard I'm going to be in good hands
Pre-Op diet .... sucks. I have gone over every single Protein shake that I own or can find in the store and think now I'll have to just stick to whey. I have some Body by Vi left over, Reshape (something that we used to sell but its not a meal replacement), Muscle Milk, Whey (from Costco). I've always looked at labels but clearly neglected to look at Carbs! I was quite shocked in the amount of them in yogurt and milk - oh and my frozen fruit that I put in my protein shake
I understand the importance of the pre-op diet very well ..... what did you all do? I tried to do the "math" and have my carbs come in at 30. Whey protein looks like its my best bet - do any of you have any other ideas?
I'll keep reading the boards -- but if anyone can give me a little advice on what you had during the day it'd be greatly appreciated! Surgery is a month away and I'd like to start this weekend for the best results!
Thanks all!
Alana
