rheumatoid arthritis

i have rheumatoid arthritis (rheumatism) as a comorbidity -- do you think my insurance company would put me on a six month medically supervised diet if I cannot do anything but swim? (i have medical mutual super med plus).

my weight history has been crazy from 180 to 250 (228,198,188,181, <diagnosed with rheumatism>242,248 approx) in five years (I had lost a lot of weight through strenous exercise about a year and a half ago). (I am 245 now BMI 38-40)
