Email link to Subscribed Threads Problem

I am having a problem with my subscribed threads. I am getting the email notifications as per normal but when I click on the link in the email to take me to the thread instead of taking me to MY FIRST UNREAD POST it takes me to the first post in the thread. This is extremely annoying especially when the thread is pages long. It never used to do this.

Alex can you please fix it?
