Dr. Adrian Dan is a bariatric and weight loss surgeon located in and affiliated with Akron City Hospital - Summa Health System. Dr. Dan has 16 years of experience performing Lap-Band and other weight loss surgery. Currently 20 of our members have Dr. Dan listed as their Lap Band Surgeon.

Dr. Adrian Dan is board certified in General Surgery and has completed advanced fellowship training in laparoscopic and bariatric surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He specializes in minimally invasive abdominal procedures, laparoscopic weight loss surgery (Laparoscopic Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass, Laparoscopic Adjustable Gastric Banding, and Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy), laparoscopic treatment of abdominal/inguinal hernias, and laparoscopic colon surgery for both benign and malignant disease. Dr. Dan also performs robotic abdominal operations for solid organ and gastrointestinal conditions.
