Dr. Rajeev Vohra is a bariatric and weight loss surgeon located in and affiliated with South Nassau Community Hospital. Dr. Vohra has 19 years of experience performing Lap-Band and other weight loss surgery. Currently 113 of our members have Dr. Vohra listed as their Lap Band Surgeon.

Dr. Vohra joined South Nassau Communities Hospital in February 2001 as the Chief of Bariatric Surgery. He completed his general surgery residency and laparoscopic training at New York University Medical Center. He is a pioneer in the field of laparoscopic and bariatric surgery and performs laparoscopic gastric bypass, lap-band and advanced laparoscopic procedures including colon resection, surgery for reflux, solid organ removal (spleen, adrenal, pancreas), inguinal and ventral hernias and biliary surgery.
