Richard Ing, M.D.

Dr. Richard Ing is a bariatric and weight loss surgeon located in and affiliated with Bryn Mawr Hospital. Dr. Ing has 19 years of experience performing Lap-Band and other weight loss surgery. Currently 40 of our members have Dr. Ing listed as their Lap Band Surgeon.

Dr. Ing is a board certified in general surgery and have completed a fellowship in advanced laparoscopic surgery. He is a Center of Excellence surgeon who had been performing surgical procedures in advanced laparoscopy including minimally invasive bariatric surgery for over 10 years in the Delaware Valley. He was among the first surgeons in the country to complete one of these coveted fellowships in all aspects of minimally invasive surgery and has extensive training and experience in all aspects of this specialty.
