He is the founder of Central Valley Bariatrics in Pasadena, California, and has been in private bariatric practice since 1999. Dr. Ara Keshishian earned a BS in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Southern California, a medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean, and completed his surgical residency at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital-Oakland. Dr. Keshishian is board-certified, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons.
