Dr. Andre Nunn is a bariatric and weight loss surgeon located in and affiliated with Forest Health Medical Center/Barix Clinics. Dr. Nunn has 19 years of experience performing Lap-Band and other weight loss surgery. Currently 32 of our members have Dr. Nunn listed as their Lap Band Surgeon.

Dr. Andre Nunn has been serving the Detroit, MI area for over 12 years. He specializes in minimally invasive bariatric surgery including Laparoscopic Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass and Laparoscopic Adjustable Gastric Band surgery, having performed several hundred of these procedures. He currently performs surgery at Forest Health Medical Center in southeast Michigan. Prior to joining with Barix Clinics, Dr. Nunn was the founder of Detroit Bariatrics. Dr. Nunn has served as a clinical professor of surgery since 2000. He has earned numerous honors including the Wayne State Department of Surgery Theodore McGraw Clinical Faculty Teaching Award in 2001. Dr. Nunn was also honored as one of Hour Magazine's "Top Doctor's in Detroit" in 2003.
