About Scott Laker
Dr Laker has particular interest in bariatric surgery and it's profound, positive effect on diabetes. He is studying this incredible phenomenon in hopes of being able to provide alternate therapies for diabetes in the future.
Dr. Laker completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin, Madison and his medical degree at Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Laker completed a surgical residency at New York University and a fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopy and Bariatric Surgery at Hackensack University Hospital in New Jersey, a world renowned center for the treatment of obesity.
