About Shey Ditto

Exceptional care and an excellent patient experience in a relaxed and professional environment are at the heart of the services Dr. Shey Ditto provides for his clients at Ditto Surgical in Austin, Texas. From his youth in a farming community in West Texas until the founding of Ditto Surgical in 2017, Dr. Ditto has worked diligently to gain knowledge and to master the medical and surgicaltechniques that help him provide the highest level of personalized care to each of his patients.

After receiving his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Ditto went on to work as a Registered Nurse in the emergency rooms of several Level 1 Trauma Centers including Baylor University Medical Center, Lutheran General Hospital, and Parkland Hospital.

He later earned his master’s degree with a focus on clinical research from Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago and went on to complete his medical studies at DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine at Lincoln Memorial University, where he graduated fifth in his class.

Dr. Ditto served as co-chief during the fourth and fifth years of his residency in Fort Worth, Texas, and then completed a cosmetic surgery fellowship with a focus on bariatric surgery in Arlington, Texas.

Dr. Ditto is married to his beautiful wife Connie Ditto with two young children.  In his spare time, he enjoys snow sports, water sports, running, and rooting on the University of Texas Longhorns.

About this directory profile

What does a directory listing mean?

A listing helps you find practice information and member experiences. It does not establish clinical quality, current credentials, or availability.

How do I use member reviews?

Read the date and the details of each experience. Reviews are personal accounts. They do not predict your results or replace a clinical consultation.

What if a detail is missing or outdated?

Ask the practice for current information. Use “Suggest an update” on the surgeon profile to report a correction to BariatricPal.
