Sue trained in General Surgery in Perth, Western Australia, obtaining Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2001.
She spent time working with Sir Professor Alfred Cuschieri in Dundee, Scotland - one of the fathers of laparoscopic surgery.
In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Sue participates in several research projects, and teaches medical students and surgical trainees regularly.[/center]
