About Keith Mcewen

As a surgeon, I wanted to find a safer solution to help my patients lose weight. The Lap Band is a safer surgical option. However, it does require a committment both by the patient and surgical team to learn how to work the band optimally. It is not a QUICK FIX. My patients have been very successful. I feel the LapBand can change lives but requires an honest relationship. IF I believe that a patient would be better served with another type of weight loss surgery, I offer my opinion and provide the resources of the appropriate surgeon to help them. THE LAP BAND SYSTEM IS NOT FOR EVERY PATIENT NOR EVERY SURGEON. The Lap Band requires committment, effort, and a team approach.

About this directory profile

What does a directory listing mean?

A listing helps you find practice information and member experiences. It does not establish clinical quality, current credentials, or availability.

How do I use member reviews?

Read the date and the details of each experience. Reviews are personal accounts. They do not predict your results or replace a clinical consultation.

What if a detail is missing or outdated?

Ask the practice for current information. Use “Suggest an update” on the surgeon profile to report a correction to BariatricPal.
