He is a board-certified general surgeon. He moved to Stanly county in 2008 and is currently Chief of Surgery at Stanly Regional Medical Center.[/font][/color]

Dr. Mallico is dedicated to continuing education, having completed several advanced courses in minimally invasive general and bariatric surgery. He has been published in several research publications and is a member of ASMBS (American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery).[/font][/color]
