About Jennifer N. Choi
Dr. Jennifer N. Choi is a native of Princeton, Indiana. She graduated with Honors in chemistry from Taylor University. She then graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine in 2001, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Society for academic honors. She completed her general surgery residency at Indiana University School of Medicine, followed by additional training in minimally invasive techniques and bariatric surgery at IU Health Bariatric & Medical Weight Loss. She is an assistant professor of surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine and assistant program director of the General Surgery Residency.
Dr. Choi is certified by the American Board of Surgery. She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract, Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, and Association for Surgical Education. Her interests include bariatric surgery, minimally invasive surgical techniques, and surgical education.
