Info
Dr. Michael Talbot is a bariatric and weight loss surgeon located in Kogarah . Dr. Talbot has 23 years of experience performing Lap-Band and other weight loss surgery. Currently 18 of our members have Dr. Talbot listed as their Lap Band Surgeon.

After completing a surgical residency in Sydney and overseas I started performing Bariatrics when I arrived back in Australia in 2003. Initially I started with the LAGB and open Roux GBP. In 2004 added Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy and Lap RYGBP to my practice. I currently perform the largest number of LapRYGBP and Laparoscopic complex revision procedures in NSW. St George Hospital (my primary hospital) has for many years been the highest volume complex bariatric hospital in Australia, and as such it offers levels of safety and expertise that cannot be matched anywhere in the country.
I work in a practice that provides 24/7 cover for my patients, and have 2 bariatric Drs, dieticians and psychologists on the team. We have 2 nurses, run an oesophageal physiology lab (reflux) and are involved in multi-centre clinical trials.
