Dr. Matthew Crouthamel is a bariatric and weight loss surgeon located in and affiliated with Evergreen Hospital. Dr. Crouthamel has 16 years of experience performing Lap-Band and other weight loss surgery. Currently 17 of our members have Dr. Crouthamel listed as their Lap Band Surgeon.

Dr. Crouthamel specializes in minimally invasive surgery. After studying biochemistry and philosophy at Pacific Lutheran University, he completed medical school and residency at University of Washington. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has advanced training in bariatric surgery, endoscopy, ultrasound, and vein surgery. A native of Puget Sound, Dr. Crouthamel enjoys leisure time in the outdoors with his wife and young children.
