John Yadegar, M.D.

Dr. John Yadegar, Bariatric Surgeon John Yadegar, MD is the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Director at Palmdale Regional Medical Center located in Southern California. He earned his medical degree from the University College and Middlesex School of Medicine in London, England and completed his residency at Addenbrookes Hospital-Cambridge England. Dr. Yadegar completed a fellowship at The Royal College of Surgeons of England. He traveled to the United States where he received advanced training at Sound Shore Medical Center in New York, Harbor-UCLA, and Danbury Hospital/ YALE in Connecticut. He completed a second fellowship in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery at UCLA Medical Center, where he also served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery. Dr. Yadegar is a diplomat of the American Board of Surgery, is a member of the American Society of Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS), and the New York Surgical Society. He has received numerous awards and was honored with the National Laparoscopic Resident of the year award. Dr. Yadegar is proud to be ranked in the top 10% of all bariatric surgeons in the United States as graded by leading independent healthcare rating organizations.
