Dr. Ronald Clements is a bariatric and weight loss surgeon located in and affiliated with Vanderbilt Medical Center. Dr. Clements has 16 years of experience performing Lap-Band and other weight loss surgery. Currently 11 of our members have Dr. Clements listed as their Lap Band Surgeon.

I learned open baritric surgery as a resident, and I began doing laparoscopic bariatric surgery in April, 2000. Bariatric surgery has become my specialty as my career has progressed. I feel strongly that currenlty bariatirc surgery offers the only available long-term solution for morbid obesity. I want all patients who qualify to have access to quality surgical services if they chose to pursue this option.
