Dr. Christopher Finnell is a bariatric and weight loss surgeon located in and affiliated with United Regional Health Care System. Dr. Finnell has 16 years of experience performing Lap-Band and other weight loss surgery. Currently 25 of our members have Dr. Finnell listed as their Lap Band Surgeon.

Dr. Finnell is a native of the Wichita Falls area. He grew up in Holliday, Texas. He is a graduate of Midwestern State University. He attended medical school at the University of Texas at Houston. Following medical school he completed a residency in general surgery at The University of Tennessee at Memphis. Dr. Finnell also did a fellowship in laparoscopic surgery at Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey, one of the busiest centers in the country for laparoscopic bariatric surgery. He also preforms laparoscopic gastric bypass and the Lap Band.
