  1. Freedom

I stumbled upon this site yesterday, 9/17, and I can honestly say that it has changed my outlook on everything about this surgery. The before and after pictures have blown my mind, and with all the encouraging advice i've recieved, I cannot wait to fulfill my goals and start my journey!

My sergeon is Dr. Geiss of syossett hospital, in long island new york. My first consultation with him was July 13th, and I am happy to say that thursday is my last clearance (god willing). I am 18 years old, and at first I thought this was scary, but now, looking back on all the years i've been sick and unhappy, I'm so excited to start my new life!

I got my first tattoo today. It's a small feather just below my wrist, symbolizing the freedom from my old life, and the rebirth of a new. And I can't wait to share my journey with all of you, and hope you'll follow. :]
