    I started my Journy back In Janurary 2010. I went and had some labs done just to see if were I was at and where I was going to go from there. I was 276 lbs. I knew I needed some kind of help. My labs came back and it wasnt good. I had type 2 diabetes and my cholesterol was high and my Triglycerides were High. I was just a very unhealthy 29 yr old. So on May 18th I got the LAP-BAND®. It has litterally saved my life. I just got back from the Drs today, I had labs done last week. Im down 50 lbs and Im as healthy as can be. No more diabetes, everything was in normal ranges. I feel great. My first goal has been reached. Now on to making the out side look and feel good. :smile:
