    Thanks for the welcome to these boards, and for all of your comments, folks! Now I'll meander around to the Ohio section of these boards and see what's up there.     Hello, all... After doing a whole lot of research --- and reading a TON of posts on these message boards -- I bit the bullet and decided I want to have lap band surgery. I emailed Dr. Trace Curry this morning and, to my amazement, he returned my email and told me to contact his office. I have my initial consultation on Wednesday, 11-08-06. Am I stupid to be aprehensive and scared? I really want to be thin and healthy for the first time in my life. I think Dr. Curry can help me. Comments and suggestions are welcome!
